What licence do you need to ride a motorcycle or scooter

There are two main options open to you to ride in the U.K. Firstly you will require a full or provisional U.K. driving licence, you can ride as a learner on L-Plates or take a full licence. To ride as a learner means first completing a C.B.T. course safely and being issued a CBT certificate. . If you have never ridden before or have any concerns, ART recommend that you first book one of our 90 minute 1:1 motorbike lessons so you can learn at your own pace. This will be done in the safety of our 12,000 sq. ft. training area, seven days a week.

For full details and information on all of the training we offer, please go to our courses page.  If you're ready to ride NOW, then please visit our online booking page. If you're interested in riding electric motorcycles or scooters please contact us for more information
